Inverted nipple surgery methods
Surgical methods for inverted nipples are broadly divided into two types. If the symptoms are mild or future breastfeeding is necessary, the ductal preservation method is used. For severe symptoms or when future breastfeeding is not a concern, the non-ductal preservation method is chosen. The non-ductal preservation method has a relatively low rate of recurrence.
